Hi! I'm Atiyyah, a 22-year-old journalist from West London

From about the age of 13, I knew I wanted to have a career in journalism,  so I started my blog writing all things beauty, girlhood and feminism! At 14, I participated in the Young Reporter Scheme, where I wrote articles for This is Local London. My interest in journalism reignited when I decided to study Journalism at University of the Arts London. 

I'm a BA Journalism and MA Media, Communications & Critical Practice graduate with experience in Fashion & Editorial Assisting, and both print and online journalism. During 2023, I interned at OK! Magazine as a Fashion, Beauty & Editorial Intern - which confirmed my passion for beauty journalism.

Currently, I am a freelance beauty journalist. You'll find me writing about trending beauty stories, quizzing experts about how & why we do certain things and reviewing the ultimate beauty products!
